Pizza Hut Pink Spot - Con?

Pizza Hut delivery boxes have this pink spot on them that's supposed to show that the pizza is hot. If the spot goes grey then the pizza is cold and you are entitled to a free large pizza.
Well, has anyone actually had a grey spot? Because the spot seems to stay pink forever. When we've finished with our boxes we put them in the porch, which is freezing, and they still don't go grey! In the past few months we've probably had about 4 boxes from them and they have all been the same.
Is this a con?

of course it is0 -
I can't remember if it was Pizza Hut or Domino's but I have had one that was pink when it arrived and grey by the time we had finished and I put them in the bin. Wouldn't be surprised if it was nonsense though

Well many years ago they did this thing where if you didn't get your pizza within 30 minutes you got it free. And my dad did actually get a free pizza. So I don't see why this is "of course" a con. Wouldn't having a pink/grey spot that never goes grey be against trading standards or something?of course it is0 -
Ive always found Pizza hut to be brilliant with customer services, when we have been in the restaurant and a wrong topping was added we got the pizza free.
Called for a takeaway once and they made a mistake, again the wrong pizza was given to us for free!0 -

They would have only put it in the bin otherwise

I can remember seeing the 'grey' spot on a pizza box after we'd eaten it, not sure how long it took to turn grey but it did do so.0

My 10 year old thought it was a competition and thought we'd won when ours went grey
