To be fair, the amount of offers that come on and then off it is sometimes impossible for all staff to know what offers are on each time.

You should have pushed it further perhaps, normally they check if you dispute it. Obviously had a bit of a funny lady on the checkout!

pushed what further, if the op had normal coke then the cashier was correct in not selling it to them for 2 for £3, as normal coke is not part of the offer, Dave

its all the diet stuff in tesco on offer, but not the full fat coke.so i think its a coke promotion not an asda one. all 2 litre diet cokes £1 in tesco!

Just returned from Asda and it is all the varieties of Diet coke in the offer, eg diet, caffeine free, with lime etc but definately not full fat coke.
