Asda clued up staff?

..I seem to know more abouth Asda then the people who work there! As I was going through the till with my 2 8 packs of coke that came up full price I argued that they should've been 2 for £3. She then said that would be silly as it's £3.23 for one & there's no way Asda would do 2 for £3. Where she been for the past 12 months !!!!!! Asda have been doing this all the time in fact they're famed for their silly deals! She made me look as if I was stupid !!!!!!!:mad:

..nope they said the offer was only on diet coke 6 pack but in reality it's 8 packs! Clueless :rolleyes:

If you look on the 'asda silly buys' thread, you'll notice someone has stated that this offer isn't valid for the 8 packs of coke, it also says this on their website somewhere.

I am actually looking at a receipt from Asda and I bought the cokes and I had 16 cans for £3.00. its says on my receipt that I saved £3.46.

Well it's on their website top right,"any 2 for £3." although it does appear to be only the diet coke.

It is only on the diet ranges, but if that is what you are buying then you should have stood your ground and demanded to speak to a customer service operative, they would have either known the offer, or been able to go and check, either way they would have been able to educate the checkout operator so she didn't make the same mistake again.

Are you sure that this isn't an online exclusive offer?

Both normal and diet coke 8 pack are meant to be on offer....you'd think the staff would know!!

Not according to asdas own website they aren`t:rolleyes:, here is a link to the page, you will notice it is only the diet varieties that have the offer on them, Dave
