We're having black cabs..........well H2B is a London Black Cab Driver and wouldn't have anything else lol. I drew the line at going in his tho as I see it on my drive every day!
We're actually hiring 2 cabs. One really old (c. 1950s I think) for me and H2B, and an ivory "Fairway" Cab (c.1980s). We're also using H2B's cab (c. 2005 lol) to transport some of his family but his dad will be driving.
Black cabs are a lovely transport option I think - they're classic and are huuuge inside. Plus I've got 5 BMs so at least I know they'll all fit in one cab!0 -
we went to our wedding in a white hackney cab and it looks cool in the pics....cabs are an ok choice imoonwards and upwards0

I'm planning to go down the taxi route - for exactly the same reasons. I think the first piece of advice I got was that you should decide what's important to you personally, spend money on that and then anything else that you're not really fussed about only gets a look in if there's enough left in the budget.
So, sorry h2b, no fancy cars
Nobody I'd rather be

Where did you get the 2 cars for £300 from?
My daughter has been quoted £640 for 2 cars.( much too expensive) I have to add we are in Glasgow.
Can anyone recommend a reliable wedding car hire firm that would service the Glasgow area for July 2010?
My Bil has a nice silver Jaguar so I might ask him to do it as wedding present, but my daughter does not like to ask(too embarrassed)
Thanks

I think the price they charge for wedding cars are too much its not like it will cost them that in fuel!
I've not even thought about it tbh, I'll get round to it eventually
