door to door energy sales
I have just had my lunch interupted by a very pushy, gobby young sales man knocking at my door asking me about my energy provider. I was confident in Martin's advice about the whole energy switching business and I used, on behalf of my mum and dad, the Energyhelpline site to change suppliers. We moved to Powergen and apart from the little scare with the price rises (not applying to internet subscribers) I was content that my parents weren't being ripped off. The point of my post is should I just get rid of the sales people as soon as possible with a confidence that they cannot beat the prices or should I hear them out. I really don't enjoy being bothered at home and then bombarded with questions. Any advice as I am sure I haven't heard the last of them?
Thanks
