Electric Shock From Laptop

I just restarted my laptop and on logging in with the fingerprint reader I got a shock, admittedly only a small one but still it seems odd.
It's still the same now when I touch it,
What's going on?:o

You're not standing in a bucket of water are you?
  • Ha Ha no I'm not but you did make me think to check my feet, seems my socks are not thick enough for my ice cold tiled floor, I tried fingerprint reader while lifting feet up and no shock!

I'll go put my slippers on:rotfl:

Its probably not a shock its probably taking a blood sample to make sure someone hasn't copied your fingerprint and is overlaying theirs with it like they do in Bond films.

    Security is high these days!

It's a moulded plug so can't really check it, anyway I have my comfy slippers on now and am shock free:D

I get a few shocks a day off laptops at work. God knows why. My manager has put it down to my shoes on the carpet cause it only happens to me :S
This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
