Hi, I have searched the forum but didn't come up with anything.
Has anyone here made a podcast who can recommend the process/software that they have used. I will be using a PC (shame because on my mac it is a click of a button).
It would be great if the process is free as I work for a charity, but please still recommend if the software you use is good but cheapish if you get my drift. Simplicity is also good!
I have googled it but as you can imagine come up with so much stuff would prefer something someone has used and can vouch for.
Thanks.

Use Audacity to record audio and edit, put together in multi-track, then export as MP3 and upload to hosting. Hardware wise, you'll want a decent microphone, one with a USB connection is probably best if you don't have a decent sound card and DI box, which I doubt.Ubuntu is an ancient African word, meaning: 'I can't configure Debian'.0

Forgot to say that we have sound forge that we will be using to edit the clips. We do have a couple of good mics but the dialogue that we are using is already recorded.

Then it's just a case of pulling it all into soundforge and editing into a podcast. Easy, but hard to do well.Ubuntu is an ancient African word, meaning: 'I can't configure Debian'.0

The editing won't be a problem as it is an interviewer asking questions and then the answer. I will just be removing the questions so that it flows like a story, I have been doing this for some time for sound clips anyway so shouldn't be a problem.
I was under the impression that for it to be a podcast rather than just a soundclip on a web page it had to be made into an RSS feed. Is that right?0 -
