Hi
I read with interest your threads and know this works but am hitting my head against a brick wall, any advice would be great
Last year Barclays charged me £900 in bank charges and to top it off I forgot i was in what they now call their reserve and they are insisting i paid £360 worth of interest (bear in mind they have charged me this in 8 weeks). I've refused they say they are going to take me to court. Any ideas what I should do. I've sent them the template letter to which they replied about the test case at the court. any advice grateful as am worried sick

When you say you've refused, what do you mean? If they have already taken the charges and left your account in arrears, you need to continue with the process in Martin's article.0 -

Look at this section of Martin's article on hardship:

If you sent a letter about your hardship, have they asked you for a financial statement or just completely ignored you?0 -
