    Hi James!

Bummer going overdrawn, I went overdrawn last week (not my fault, bank paid out all my SO's dated 25th on the 20th) and I am gutted! My nice shiny, overdraft free statement ruined!
Anyway, I would definitely use your winnings/ quidco to remedy this as you'll be charged more interest (I guess) than you'll earn. Then when you get paid, replace the money plus a few extra pennies.
    Better luck next month!
    Saving for an early retirement!

well in all honesty the amount i will get charge in interest is peanuts, me quidco winnigs are in a savings account at the moment. ive got £20 coming from quidco this month so that will reduce the overdraft to £48, just a pain cos its taken me a while to build up a little money to have behind me just in case anything goes wrong :(

Love the "36 payments and counting" in your sig James. Is it new or have I just missed it before?

On the o/d you're saying I think that having a bit in an emergency fund is a good morale boost and more important than losing more interest due to the o/d than the savings will make? I can understand that. I'd worry like hell if i had no "back up". I think it depends on your situation, if someone has parents or other relatives who'd help in a real emergency it's quite different from someone who doesn't have that and has to rely only on themselves.

Whatever you decide you've done brilliantly in not only paying off a huge amount (and remember all that overtime, or are you still doing it?) BUT ALSO managing to get a savings fund together. :j

morning peeps :hello: thanks for all the words of advice on me overdraft :) Verbatim ur right it is nice to have that cushion just incase anything unexpected happens (i.e. major catastrophe not the over draft lol) so i think i will not spend anything else and let my wages go in at the end of the month which is only next tuesday so its not a major issue. :) Just dont want to use the savings ive got cos its basically been a bit of luck with a few winnings from playing blackjack and quidco so its money that ive never had so i definatley want to use it as back up :)
