many thanks guys must say i am chuffed a little bit cos ive nearly got my overall debt down to under £10000. once the payments have all gone through.I know some people may think that cos im having a holiday that that money could be better spent on my debt, but i really do need a break.Spending some time at my friends mums place in France so its £65 for the Eurostar each taking the car then we only got diesel costs when were the other side. So im going to take around £300 spending money with me for 2 and a half weeks and im crossing fingers that i will come back with money as well. Although im going to try and do as much overtime as possible so i can still make an overpayment in that month :)Just want me debt free date to be so much more closer :o although as was pointed out to me last night i am fortunate to be in the posistion that im in, in being able to make overpayments as a lot of people arent so fortunate :o

You must be really chuffed that things are going so well. I'm really glad that you got the money back off your mum and brother - things like that can be a bit sticky sometimes.

  • Why don't you go grape picking while you are in France for part of your holiday? You'll be well paid and fed and watered (well wined really) and make lifelong friends like I did in the 80's
