Aww well done james. At least that helps.

how much do you reckon you'll be able to whack off your MNBA cc before the interest kicks in?

I'm not sure I understand why you'd rather pay interest now and keep the MB winnings until the end of the year. Wouldn't it cost you less to wipe out the MNBA before interest charges increase the debt? Just a thought.

Im keeping hold of the matched betting winnings for the moment cos i can earn more from matched betting than i will pay in interest :)

Basically i should be able to pay off approx £350-400 this month and then around £800 the following month so it should take me too long to smash that figure down to almost £0 :)

    Hiya everyone :hello:

Unfortunatley didnt recieve my new wages this month for my promotion  but hopefully should have a nice large sum to play with next month when i actually get paid me correct wages :)

This month i got paid £1131 sooooo my outgoings are as follows:

    RENT £280.00

    BROADBAND
    £0.00

    PHONE £42.00

    TRAVEL CARD
    £33.80

    SAVINGS £10.00

    CREDIT CARD £0.00

    LOAN £303.71

    O/DRAFT £25.00

    TOTAL £694.51

So that leaves me with £436 left out of my wages.......

Going to keep £136 for myself for the rest of the month so that leaves me £300 to use as over payments :) Ive got to pay off £52 minimum payment of my Morgan Stanley credit card, so that leaves me £248 to pay off my MBNA credit card :)

This month in total i will be able to pay off in total £590 off my debt this month which im pleased about, next month hopfully that should be nearer a thousand which i will be really pleased about :)

Its the home straight for me now and im feeling really really good aobut myself in that this last 1 and 1/2 years has been a real learning curve for me. Its taught me how to budget and how to obtain things that i would like cheaper as well (thank god for quidco  )

Cant believe that when ive actually paid off all my debts that im going to have over a £1000 left out of my wages, this is really going to help when i start saving for a deposit for a house/flat :)

Life is looking that little bit better peeps :D

Belgravia?? think thats well out of my league verbatim :D

Hopefully going to buy in the area that im in at the moment, but it would be a case of me saving as hard as possible for at least the next year with an aim of looking to buy in 2009.

Cross fingers that the housing market will have slowed down by then and hopefully be at a reachable level for me :)

Yep. Fingers crossed James. You'll have a nice deposit by then anyway.

The housing market seems to be slowing down, though not so much in the SE. Who knows what will be happening by 2009.

yeah i know, its a little bit depressing at the moment though especially seeing how the housing prices keep on increasing out of my reach though :( hopefully by 2009 the housing market will have slowed down and be at a more obtainable level for me :)
