oooo just doing a quick working out once ive paid off all my debt and IF im able to get this promotion i could be saving around £850 a month :j :j

which would mean i could save approx £10,200 a year

Within two years i might have decent deposit put together for a flat or a house :j :j

plenty of inspiration for me to get out of debt :D

    James,

It's amazing how quickly the savings build up when you're not paying off a debt. DH and I saved £250 a month each in the A&L regular savings and then put £6,000 into ISAs this month. DH also put £6,000 of his bonus into a cash aVC, immediately adding 40% because of the tax relief and is saving another £500 into that - so in just over a year we've got £26,000 worth of savings. I know £4,000 of that is tax allowance and £6,000 his bonus but we would have previously not been able to save anything.

    wow thats brilliant :T

Im hoping that im able to get this promotion at work cos its around an extra £200-£250 a month extra which means i will be able to clear my debts a lot quicker and then as i said save around £850 a month once debts are cleared :)

I will save around £850 a month plus i will give myself double the allowance that i give myself now which is approximatley £100 a month. So i will have £200 a month to easily buy myself stuff with plus i will be saving a substantial amount of money each month as well.

I can pretty much do this as i wont have a lot of outgoings once i have paid off my loan and credit cards :)

I cant believe my dream of being debt free is only 9 months away, i really cant wait to start saving and actually be in the posistion of not oweing any money to any companies.
