What printer to go for ??

Hi folks just asking for some help which printer should I go for Canon mp140 or the Hewlett packard F4180.Two entry level printer/scanners.The deciding factors being price of replacement cartridges,quality of print,reliability.I can get both for £30 each.Many thanks for any input on this subject. Leachy.

I never buy original ink from the manufacturer, its ridiculously expensive. I buy ink from jettec, they are not the cheapest about, but Ive been happy with the quality. If you want to go down this route check which printer you can get decent replacement ink cartridges from.

Do you need the scanner? Otherwise Samsung ML 2240 looks pretty good at £40 - laser printer so costs per print will be lower than inkjet printers. I have one arriving today and decided to sacrifice any scanning as I rarely need to scan stuff in tbh.

I have always been lucky with Canon products (I have a Canon printer and scanner) and I can usually get the ink pretty cheap so I would go for that!
