    bizarrely, saying 'I have nothing positive to say' would probably really get her going 'well, I saw her in the corrider and guess what.......'

    cut her off with 'I'm really not interested' or just excuse yourself to the ladies room as soon as she starts....

    If she keeps pushing the subject she'll start to look silly...

  • I'm going to swig a quick drink of something before I go out.......not sure if advocaat, vodka and chocolate grappa liquer will make a good cocktail......maybe if I mix in some apple juice and a can of red bull I've seen lurking in the fridge........:rotfl:

    Also need to call OH to ask him for a lift - makes a nice change!

    The word 'sludge' springs to mind...
    Perhaps just a boring vodka red bull for starters might be safer...
