  • Not really like Guess Who, but a good guessing game that goes down a treat with most of our kids at school is the "Charades For Kids" game. If your son likes the guessing element then he'll probably like this too.

It has words to act out like the real Charades game- but they are words like dog, elephant, cat, etc.. Then there are also phrases to act out for older or more advanced kids like "tie your shoelace" or "be a lollipop lady"

    Honestly the kids love it!!

    Here it is on Amazon...

  • What about Top Trumps?
He's obviously a visual boy and would welcome some stats to remember. They're not all muscle cars or wrestlers either, we've got some Postman Pat ones!
  • just a thought but what about hedbanz?
he may like the guessing element. There is a kids version.

Not having a go but being an only child myself it upset me when my parents bought me games that needed other players but didn't want to play with me, I didn't have many friends back then and certainly wasn't allowed any in the house (mum had a kidney machine at home) and i wasn't allowed to take the games out with me when i was allowed out.

Why do parents by only child games that need others to play with when they aren't keen to play with them
Life is about give and take, if you can't give why should you take?

Thanks for your input ,I do try and buy activities that can be used alone or group,I too was practically an only child (brother was 8 years older ) so am quite conscious of this .
Too be honest I bought it as a family game(we have family time on a Sunday either DVD ,Games,or outdoor activities) expecting him to be too young to play alone against somebody .

Thanks everybody for taking time to reply I do appreciate it ...but he still wants guess who out at every given opportunity
