ICICI HiSAVE - How Safe?

I opened an account at the end of december with £5. I had no trouble at all and
everything went very smoothly. I then transferred a sum above £100000. I have
since earned januarys interest - at a rate 0.62% better than ING.0 -

You're lucky they didn't try and Direct-Debit your £100K twice!
Forget comparing with ING. Theirs used to be the rate to beat, but they are nowhere these days.
There are several good-paying accounts around which you can split your money between and still get close enough to ICICI's rate, but with added peace of mind. By all means put one block of £35K in ICICI (for coverage by FSCS) - but put the rest in 2 other banks.0
