we have been looking for replacement wall lights for our front room for ages now & was just wondering if anyone knew anywhere that do trendy wall lights but that have the pull down cord to turn the light on/off?
otherwise we would have to have cable chopped into the wall (apparantly so hubbie says) the old lights that were up there when we koved in looked like something out of the 1950's! but they had the puul cord, all the ones i like dont have the pull cords though:mad: please could anyone help?

i once bought two ceramic uplighters (with lightspills) from BQ and modified them, to accept pull switches from maplins.
total cost was less then 30 quid.Get some gorm.0 -
Do they not run off a main switch on the wall at all then?
John Lewis do some with the cord, but they're quite small and designed for bathroom use but I've bought two as sidelights for my bed

no they dont run of a main light any where, only the pull cords light up the old ones, we've not got anything up there at the moment, just the wires! fed up with looking at them!
