google money system

Whilst on facebook recently, I've noticed an ad at the side of the screen for the Google Money System, basically a get rich quick scheme.
In the ads someone tantalises you with how much they are earning with it, then tells you to use your credit card to send off for the info, which only costs £1.95.
You KNOW it sounds too good to be true, but theres that little bit of 'if only' in all of us, and you think, "well even if its a scam, I'll only loose £1.95.
I Googled it and found that along with the £1.95 they will also take approx £200. I'm not really sure what the £200 was for
. But it seemed that the people scammed by it could not get their money back.
It is definately a scam and seems to have been around for a while, so sorry if I'm repeating something people already know, but if posting stops one person getting ripped off, then alls well and good.
Has anyone been caught out. (and would they be brave enough to admit if they had:cool:)
I'm not saying that you can't make money in a similar way on the web, but be aware, look into it carefully and do some research on who you are giving your credit card number to, and don't just click on an ad. on facebook, msn or whatever.

Thanks very much for this warning. I saw these ads on facebook too and they are very tempting indeed! As you say, I thought 'Well it's only £1.33' but I was doubtful about giving them my card number and now I'm glad I didn't. How did you find out that they also take £200? I've tried searching for independent reviews, etc. without success.
Do you know of any genuine home-working systems which give a reasonable income? I've just been made redundant and need to look at new ways of generating income.

Here, this fella seems to make his money (quite famously) on his blog, don't ask me how> http://www.shoemoney.com/2008/12/26/google-money-tree-scam-hydra-affiliate-network/
Here,

and very usefully, here.

and no I'm sorry, I din't know of any get rich (quick or slow) schemes. if I did I would be on my Yacht sunbathing, not sat under the stairs at home on my computer
My best advice would be, when you key in a search, go through pages and pages of links and read through, not just the first few pages. Try to do some good research before you jump in.

You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.0

The only Home Working system which will give a decent income is selling your old crap on Ebay, everything else is going to be a scam.
If it were possible, someone would have invested in developing the system, automated it and reaped in thousands
Don't fall for ANY of this "earn big bucks from home" nonsense, unless you want to become a scammer.0 -
You just saved me £200 and a lot of hassle. Regards Shell:jbamboozled2 wrote: »Whilst on facebook recently, I've noticed an ad at the side of the screen for the Google Money System, basically a get rich quick scheme.

Sometimes it comes from the big company like googleHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure.0

As posted on another thread, unsurprisingly this is indeed a scam.

Ads first take you to a site like: jasonberinski.com (or one of hundreds of clones)
and then link to emillionaireinstitute.com or eznetincome.com with the headline:
"Google is paying $150-$156 USD a day to work from home!" and lots of logos for Google CNBC, USAToday, ABC, CNN and Yahoo!
Clearly some people have fallen for this:

best of everything; they just make the best
of everything that comes along their way."

It doesn't matter how many times you tell people not to believe the get rich quick schemes, there will always be someone who believes it and pays for the so-called information.
It's like spam. Pretty much everyone knows it is bad, but some people still respond and buy stuff, so it remains profitable for the spammers to do it.0
