Just called them, they said the £7.95 is a very recent offer, I told them I ordered on 17/09/09 and the offer was definitely on then, she apologised and offered a £2 credit on the next box, I said I would prefer £2 back on my credit card, which she did.minimoneyme wrote: »Hmmm you're right, just checked my credit card and I've been debited £9.95, checked and there is no mention of P+P anywhere. Will call Hotel Choc tomorrow, and have queried with Quidco, will let you know what they say. hth
All done with the minimum of fuss - well done Hotel Chocolat :T0 -

I just called them too, spoke to the same person you did! (she said she'd already had a call this morning from someone who mentioned Quidco). As the money hasn't actually left my bank yet there isn't anything she can do but she was very nice and told me they'd be happy to refund if it goes out of my bank at the wrong price.0

tracked at £9.74 for me too - seems an odd amount for a box so I am assuming a postage charge of £1.99 which isn't mentioned anywhere!
So, after the cashback it's £4.74 so roughly the cost of the half price box in thorntons at the moment.52% tight0 -

No there is no postage charge - I spoke to them, - their normal joining special offer is £9.[STRIKE]75[/STRIKE]95 (eg: it's that on TopcashBack), this is a new special offer of £7.95 (I got the email with the offer on 17/09/09), do call them and tell them you applied through Quidco and the offer was £7.95, they will either give you a £2 credit or £2 refund. They are really helpful and aware of the issue as a few of use MSE'ers seem to have rung up!tracked at £9.74 for me too - seems an odd amount for a box so I am assuming a postage charge of £1.99 which isn't mentioned anywhere!
