PPI reclaim

I have now been claiming my PPI i back for just over a year the PPI was with Barclays Bank but I have found out that it was with freedom finance the banking ombusman has now wrote to me to tell that it is the final stages does anyone now how long this last process will take our ppi was for £14250.00 which is a nice lump sum if I get it back also I a#have been asking for a seetlement figure for 6 months and still have not received one

So that I have read this correctly, I take it your complaint is being dealt with by the FOS, its taken over a year so far then?
And this was with Freedom Finance? Do you mean the fos are dealing with this complaint now with Freedom Finance and not Barclays?

Right it its on its final stages, I assume you have been through a year of this being moved on to a caseworker - Adjudicator and now the final investigation is with the ombudsman himself? Am I correct?

You could ask the ombudsman dealing with your complaint to request the figures for you, as they did with mine.;)

Mine was rather a complexed case and it had taken approx 14 months from start to finish.
