    fair play - it is the season - it's just that the houses/hotels are built to withstand them, and life gets back to normal very very quickly afterwards. i was amazed at how little disruption was caused! I was just meaning that it's a very low risk, and even if it hits, it probably won't affect a holiday there all that much.

    Hmmmm.. .. maybe having a rethink about a coach holiday, if we decide on Florida. Perhaps a 2-centre, as suggested, would be better. Thanks for all your comments, esp. re hurricanes.
