Hi,
Just wondering if anyone knows if someone tells you their house was repossessed is there any way to check/verify if that is true? Would this be shown in a credit search against them?
Many thanks.

Hi,
I don't know the property or where it is. These are tenants I am thinking of letting to who told me they were repossessed as one of them was made redundant. They seem very genuine people, down on their luck, but I am not always the best judge of character (and have read stuff on here and other forums suggesting that some people say this sort of thing and it's untrue) so was wondering if there was any way I could find out if what they said was true. I haven't yet taken prior addresses or further info from them.
Many thanks.0 -

If you want to verify the information, ask them for a copy of the court order or supply other proof that you can check.
Mind you, if you don't trust them already - go with gut feelings, they are probably correct.
Just choose some tenants that are employed so that they have the means to pay you should they cause any damage to your property."Now to trolling as a concept. ....
