I have sent off my first letter to bank of scotland, received a letter saying they were looking into it and would get in touch, that was in January.
I decided to give them a call and was basically told they had passed it on to another person and would contact me after calculations as one of the loans was a capital loan, lost me already?
Left me wondering have I got my money back? How long do I wait now? and why does it take longer with a capital loan and why is it more complicated?
Could anyone answer any of this?

Hi there
They are entitled to 8 weeks in full to investigate, this is what the financial ombudsman give them before they take over to investigate for you, even if you do not hear from them by those 8 weeks your eligible to move on to the FOS (financial ombudsman service), you can always contact the FOS if your unsure who will be able to confirm this to you.

I am sure others will post here as well to help, good luck with this and please let us know how you get on and if you require any help with anything here.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
