Just had a thought re: EI vouchers... Say one managed to get hold of two vouchers at the same time (from two cards)... what would happen if you tried putting them through together? Would you get double the points, i.e. 600 points for a £1.66 spend?   Has anyone tried this??? (Purely hypothetical situation in my case, as DH's card doesn't get offered EI vouchers, and I haven't had a second one anyway  ... but am just wondering!)
And on a final note, regarding gift wrapping, am I the only Boots addict who's still got the Med gift bags from last summer's loophole? I've still got loads, despite giving them away all year...(For those who weren't around then, we got 100 points for a 30p-ish gift bag...
)
I've used a Med gift bag today! I'm down to my last 3 now  Thats why I was thinking of the cellophane.
Anyhow.. what a pants day at the ACM!! I managed to find absolutely loads of the TS old style packaging bits and no blinking vouchers
Feeling a little down in the mouth I was, however... I thought I would have a go at another possible loophole that was bandied around earlier this week.
Bought 11 packs of Bodyform - 99p each
Total cost £10.89
Paid with £1 bodyform vouchers x 10 and the balance of 89p in cash.
Got another 11 x £1 Bodyform vouchers, 43 points and £5 / skincare choccies voucher which I have saved for when I find the Avene bags :A
Gonna have to go and do it all over again methinks :rotfl:
It seems that manufacturers coupons are treated as cash when you redeem them in Boots, so when the total spend coupons for £10 are back they should also work0 -
PaleScene wrote:Hi,
Someone posted a few pages back about getting Hard Candy make-up reduced, is the 'buy 2 get £5 off' still working?
Yeah I used it today. The stuff In Cribbs Boot's is reduced and there's isn't a sign or anything saying £5 off but it goes through the tills! It's quite funky too, I've got 6 pieces now for £1.50! Thanks to the OP for this 1! :beer:0 -

You forgot she'll get BFH.......and the much prized Bendy Bully......Super, smashing, magic!0 -

i think someone was trying to make teh point that it was false economy in an earlier post but if it was summin you really wanted/needed and it was cheapest at boots, i dont see teh problem?
I think you mean me. But most of the time boots is not or will not be the cheapest.
But if you think it works in your favour go for it. But don't forget to leave something for the rest of us
If you are looking at buying electricals. I tend to save up my amazon vouchers that I get for free for from various sources. So the outlay is nil for me. Just got myself a new mobile phone that way for nothing.
But each to there own.

Went into Liverpool city centre branch and had a better shop. ACM still spouting out rubbish vouchers though.
Got 4 lots of the reduced Soltan sets, still on BOGOF, spotted the Avene bags and put 2 in my basket and went to pay.....SA didn't even flinch!
Had three skincare vouchers so got 2 Olay face washes, one packet of wipes and another 3 bags. Spotted a Babyliss face steamer reduced from £40 to £11! Took them all to the pharmacy till and was hoping the steamer would be put through first....as all the other stuff was free. But the SA took the Avene bags out and put them through first....I went cold _pale_ .... but the young SA said 'Oh they are free....did a rep give them to you?'.......I just smiled and said yes.....paid and fled to the exit! To make matters worse the alarms went off as I was going out    All was well though, it was another lady not me.....I did feel guilty though!0 -
Today I phoned customer services to 'discuss' the 350 points for £35 spend that didn't get added when I did a recent Big Shop with EI, Tony & Guy, etc. (despite picking up a couple of extra items to make up to £35 at suggestion of s/a). She asked for my a/c card number and when I shopped. She knew that on Monday I had receved 1800 points and thought that was enough! Basically told me I was being greedy by wanting the 350 too! I ended the conversation before she took my 1800 away!
Tomorrow I will take back some Lynx (Remember: use one voucher for each) as I didn't get exra points. I wonder what they will do about my £4 saved?Do not allow the risk of failure to stop you trying!0 -

Should not laugh but well done on your little haul.
On sunday when my husband and I went to Boots he exchanged a few items playing the dippy husband he got me the free No7 Bag. As it was taken from one display to another till the young woman did not know it had a security tag on it. Neither did my husband until he left the shop and it set the alarms off :rotfl:
Think he was a little
Shame I missed it as I had the slowest SA on this earth. Really nice but a little slow.
