no you havent lost your points dont worry (and i dont want to be the bearer of bad news but the only way that could happen was if someone else had found your card and spent them) a good protection against thsi is to always keep your latest reciept showing your points total. i keep both my tesco and boots ones pinned to my board and i replace them every time i get a new reciept.

just ring up the help line and explain whats happened and they will re-issue your card. they arent so good at taking the point off teh old card though! so if you find it too, you will have double points which you can either spend those 'bonus' ones or else you can merge the two cards.

good luck in finding it and if not dont worry! :)

How long will i have to wait for the new one ie: how long before i can go back into boots!?!? lol .. what if i dont find the old card and if they dont transfer as you say what will i do??? any ideas on waht to do instead of reading this thread and wanting to go to boots!?!? OH WOE IS ME!!!!!

I think I'll go and look for the Soltan kids stuff as well :)

I usually buy children's suncare for the high factor protection and because I'm not looking to tan anyhow!

I managed to get some Avene total sunblock milk reduced to £4.75 - it worked with the skincare voucher (nice SA agreed to try and was very surprised, but did tell me that the till often has glitches ;) ) So I got two bottles with my two vouchers for free. So it may be worth looking out for any other Avene sun stuff on the reduced shelves.

I don't know the answers to how long they take, sorry, but could you get some enjoyment from Boots still by borrowing someone else's card (who trusts you!) and putting a smile on their face if you do get a deal by having got them some points.

(Obviously I don't mean spend XXs of your own money on a serious deal like EI, but if you wanted to check out Hair Science or whatever then your friend might end up 100 points up :D)

I ordered a replacement card yesterday (I'm ashamed to admit I have never used a AC) it said upto 14 days, so you can have points stored on receipts then add them to your new card when it arrives? Therefore, you can still stay here with us freebie junkies and still raid boots?? Please someone correct me if thats not right?? I'm fairly new to this myself lol

Mummysaver.....if you go back a couple of pages.....a post says that the Avene bag is going through as free!! So if you get a nice SA you may be able to blag one or two with other skincare products. I will give it a go and report back! :D

Thanks, I saw the post, and have asked Burnham1 if she has come across the bag locally. The stuff I got with my vouchers was not the same, but will hopefully be good with dd3's eczema.

But please let us know if you get them for free - and let's hope that it works nationally - not sure where the first poster lived.

Well done, that's right, but unless you have a card you won't get all the extra AC points, but still keep your receipt and get it validated so that points you do get can be transferred onto your new card.

SIL card took about 2 weeks, my replacement in November took just over a month  I nearly died!

Try the carrier bags that you had last time you used it - I know that I've stuffed my card in the bag with the receipt before now!

I have my "SIL" card that I haven't yet used, if you are feel desperate PM me and I can send it to you - it'll mean a name change for you  but you can change the address online to your own.
