They are reduced and going through at 1/4 of the original price. Do you think I could get back full price for exchange if I return?...

I know, it is not fair and I am ashamed of myself even thinking about this... But there is a thought in the back of my mind...
Not a chance, you naughty ginvzt you! Where are the moral guardians when you need them? :p

The "full price" for the reduced items is whatever they scanned for (about 1/4 original price).

If you take them back with a receipt, you get back what you paid.

Sans receipt, and you'll get an exchange for what they currently scan at - 1/4 original price.

I've had a problem with the EI voucher.
I dont think it was a till problem, because the voucher never made it as far as the till :(
The same grumpy SA who had followed me around the store made sure that it was her that served me,and before I could stop her she grabbed a pen and scribbled straight through the barcode of the EI voucher, announcing "this one has to be added manually!"
Of course she only added one lot of points,& when I protested, she pointed out that as she had "watched me make 500 points on lynx click not 10 minutes ago" that I didnt really have any grounds to complain.. :(:(:(

What a horrid SA. That would make my blood boil.

Can anyone confirm that its still working with EI vouchers, as if I do get another voucher I don't wanna buy loads n not get the points!! :o

Hi Darren, I've not had an EI voucher yet but when a similar thing happened a while back and the points weren't added on I asked for a refund straight away.
Not worth taking it all home and then back again.

Trevor Sorbie 100 points AC voucher

Well that's 3 reports now that would seem to suggest that Boots have closed the loophole whereby the TS voucher gave 100 points for each TS item purchased - even minis.

Has anyone tried to print more than one TS coupon and use it in the same way as the Lynx Click voucher? Ie print 5 vouchers and present all 5 in one go?

That would mean that the SA would have a reason to disallow a voucher being used against a mini item though.

If the AC machine will still let you print off more than one TS voucher, you can of course still put the items thru as single transactions.

Wonder if this has got anything to do with today being Wed, which is when the machines are supposed to be updated?

I brought lots of TS stuff today only 100 points for the lot.
Different checkout gave 2 vouchers for 100 points for 2 TS items one was only 44p and they worked got 200 points and tried to print more vochers but after 2 or 3 wouldnt give me any more and then when i tried my card in a different Boots it had dissapeared off the offers.

PS off topic:.......this week is officially Random Acts of Kindness week.... so be nice ..... at the supermarket this morning told this woman to save herself some money and get the same number of tea bags by buying 2 smaller packs on bogof instead of the big one she had in her basket.... her face was truly a picture! The next step will be to do something similar in Boots:rotfl:

Oh cool - I like doing that kind of stuff anyway and this week it's sanctioned :grinheart

There was another woman looking at the Jemma Kidd make-up in Boots alongside me and we spoke along the lines of 'it's all so nice isn't it' and I was able to tell her to pick up the magazine for another 300 points if she bought anything - she looked so pleased.

I also have a new purpose in life as checker of prices online for my aunt and her friends :grinheart

    Hi

I have just noticed a glitch on Boots.com!! :grinheart

I have just ordered 2 Toni & Guy items - one at £6.99 and one at £4.99 (2 for £7 offer) and 2 Trevor Sorbie items £6.99 each (2 for £7 offer) - total to pay is £13.97 and it has given me 553 points as the 500 points for a £25 spend kicked in!!! - it has added up each individual item for the points! :j

    Hope this helps someone!
