Down town early this am as DD and I had a free mini makeover with No 7 ( if I had a webcam, you'd be able to admire my lovely pink and grey eyeshadow!)
Feel very pampered as I never really bother much with makeup, although I do use the TD range...

Got talked into the TS 2 for £7 deal for DD, added the Soltan packs and a choc bar. Also got 2 bodyform, and horrified DD by removing the vouchers as we were wandering round...she may never come into Boots with me again. Also 2 TD wipes free with vouchers(DD put one through). So, not a bad shop, and got another voucher, although I had to ask for it.

    I did it!!!

Went into Boots today. N second EI voucher, but TS was there. I checked the shelf - and as it was mentioned before old style TS was mixed up with the new ones. But no labals for old ones - just for new. So, I picked one of each and went to the pharmacy counter to check price. And the prices were much lower. So, went back to the shelf and put in my basket:

    2 x Moisturiser with UV filter - £1.50 each
    2 x Thickening shampoo - £1.25 each
    2 x Detox shampoo - £1.25 each
    1 x Glosser - £1.00
    2 x Post shave soother - £1.00 each
    1 x Facial wash - £1.00

Paid £8.00 in total and got 1000 points!!!

SA was laughing - you must like this brand very muuch. And I just answered it will be for presents for brother and cousin ;-) Very glad. Have £65.09 on my AC now!!!

Thanks to you all for your advice as to what to use the skincare vouchers on. I went back to Boots this morning with my two vouchers and picked up an Olay Total Effects handcream for 5.99 and the face wash at 4.99 then purposely went to the crabby SA I went to yesterday.

"You can't use those vouchers on them, I told you that yesterday" she said. So I replied "Yes and when I got home I saw that it states on the back of the voucher that it can be used on Olay Total Effects, so you are wrong and have now made me have to visit Boots twice instead of once!"

She then said that the vouchers didn't work last time she tried with a different customer, so I asked her to try - and they worked!!! She then looked very miserable as she did them as two transactions - total to pay 99p.

Thank you for this forum I would not have known if I hadn't been advised on here. I wonder how many other customers she has told that they can't use it on these products?

Anyway just to change the subject I think I am going to look out for a job with Boots they get 22.5% discount according to the careers website!

If anyone is looking for a bargain to spend those £5 skincare vouchers on try the Daniele Ryman range - it is in the clearance section at the back of the store this afternoon with all items either £3 or £5 - so free with voucher. Some of the items I bought had been originally £18 down to £5...
There were maybee 15 -20 items or so left after 2pm today.

    Hi,

I have previously only lurked but think this thread is fantastic!!! I can't set foot near a Boots without checking this site first. Does anyone know if the cheap TS stuff can be found anywhere in the Leeds area? My DH likes this range and thought I might stock up.

    thanks
  • Just come back from town. Got two lots of items, making it up to £10 each time to get the voucher. Used one voucher on TD wipes (I like these) and will use the other one another time. Got the BOGOF shower gel also. Also got a pack of bodyform, payed with that with a voucher. However there are no Lindt left :(, I wanted to try them as well!
