I got the letter too, mines going up with helpucover from 17 to 22.
I don't really think its fair as i bet it never goes down in the future! But its a sign of the current situation, so i would take it as an opportunity to double check you have the cover you need.
Oh well, they won't be the only company increasing costs thats for sure.Mortgage free wannabe!:

omg. iv just got letter from helpucover, my premium is going from £14 to £19 next month. i cant believe it, iv only just took the policy out and paid my 1st payment 3days ago. :eek: are they allowed to do this ?0

Erm, I'd go with yes. unlike car ins. its an ongoing policy, rather then a price for the year.
