uhmmmmm I could be wrong here... but I thought if the metal strip was "recovered" *cough* then you could take that to the bank? I might have imagined that though and obviously up to you if you think it's worth £20 to uhmmmm recover them

Yes it did make me feel better.
As I said, I know its not a huge amount of money, but it is to me when I never have spare money to spend on myself, with every penny accounted for.

I bet you soon forgive her , our Jack Russel (b!tch :rolleyes: ) ate £30 of our grocery shopping money when she was a puppy, she jumped up on the coffee table and munched her way through it :mad: , but you can't stay mad at them for long , and they know how to use the sad eyes routine. Hope you feel like forgiving her soon <<<hugs>>> (was going to put the group hug on but it looks pervy to me)

I KNOW that if you have one of the numbers from a note, you can get it replaced.

Theres a form avalible from the bank, to be sent to the Bank Of England, that means they will `delete` that number & return you the same amount.

i know, cose I stopped a workmate chucking half a fiver, got him the form & the nice chap gave me £2.50 for letting him know.
The fiver was IN the bin & I fished it out! DFW!
