uhmmmmm I could be wrong here... but I thought if the metal strip was "recovered" *cough* then you could take that to the bank? I might have imagined that though and obviously up to you if you think it's worth £20 to uhmmmm recover them :)

I am so upset, I know its not the end of the world, but I came downstairs this morning and my dog had eaten two £10 notes and two vouchers!!!

They were in a wallet, in my handbag so shes muzzled in to get it out.

She also chewed up my lovely turqoise beaded purse :(

It was the last of my birthday money that I had put away for a treat!!!!

 Its typical, there never normally anything in there.

    Thanks, rant over

    you know the solution?

    have a cat instead!

    Thanks,

Yes it did make me feel better.
As I said, I know its not a huge amount of money, but it is to me when I never have spare money to spend on myself, with every penny accounted for.

I think she knows Im mad at her coz she keeps looking at me with sad eyes.
    Shes a black lab.
    and a proper b!tch

    Aww pinklouloubell,
I bet you soon forgive her ;) , our Jack Russel (b!tch  ) ate £30 of our grocery shopping money when she was a puppy, she jumped up on the coffee table and munched her way through it  , but you can't stay mad at them for long :D , and they know how to use the sad eyes routine. Hope you feel like forgiving her soon <<<hugs>>> (was going to put the group hug on but it looks pervy to me)

MrsTine thanks for the Bank of England linky, I still have bits left over from the "attack on the £30", as a reminder of what the little scamp is capable of, I'll be sending that off this afternoon :T

  • I KNOW that if you have one of the numbers from a note, you can get it replaced.

Theres a form avalible from the bank, to be sent to the Bank Of England, that means they will `delete` that number & return you the same amount.

i know, cose I stopped a workmate chucking half a fiver, got him the form & the nice chap gave me £2.50 for letting him know.
The fiver was IN the bin & I fished it out! DFW!
