HI
my wife needs a downstair bathroom/ wetroom but the disabled facilities grant limit is £30.000 but since thay have spent £17.000 on a steplift/wiider doors in the last 2 years and the limit £30.000 over 5 years that leaves £13.000 but we need at least £30.000 what are we do to?

Maximum grant amount
The maximum amount of grant that a council is required to pay is £30,000 per application less any assessed contribution from you. If the cost of the eligible works is more, the council can use discretionary powers to increase the amount.0
