What has this to do with money saving? because it is an attempt to force people to buy a single product and to gain a monopoly on the market - resulting in higher prices for inferior quality products as there will be no competition.
Just to set the way back machine - when Call of Duty 3 was released for gaming consoles only - PC owners took this as an insult to those who had helped develop the game and also paid their money to get snubbed. Also backup and support for the game series itself was extremly poor to non existent
The gaming clan I am in - organised a world wide boycott of all call of duty servers and it ended up with over 90% of game servers being locked off in protest. This caused a good deal of harm to activision share prices and resulted in CoD 4 and 5 being hurried along to include PC versions.
Now it seems again we get snubbed by an "exclusive rights" deal - we were promised the date for Wii and Playstation only for this date to be retracted and a silence from Harmonix and EA. except for - no release date is given at this time.
Harmonix and EA games : We are customers who have bought your products with our hard earned cash and this is basically a "thanks and stuff you" response.
I'd like to call on ALL users to boycot all Harmonix / EA rock band related products and online gaming activity until the situation improves-
Also spread the word around every gaming related forum you can find.
If you have messenger programs - if you can change the description for displayed information then edit it to express your anger at the situation - the more people who involve themselves then the bigger the voice will be.
I did have RB2 on order with play.com - this is now cancelled and I urge anyone else who has orders pending to do the same

Don't try to teach a pig to sing - it wastes your time and annoys the pig

Sorry, I may be a bit coffee deprived, but you want to boycott stuff because a game is delayed for your platform? The "Bloodlust" Clique - Morally equal to all. Member 20

But man my rock band volume goes up to 110

I'm confused what this protest is about... Are you protesting because they make these games for consoles, and not for the PC?
Well EA games make The Sims for PC and consoles, and the PC version is by far superior over any console version... It works both ways.
For games like Call of Duty, just get a PS3!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
Let's see whether I've understood this correctly. At some point in the past you bought a game from a company, yes?. Aside from the game and (presumably) a licence to play and/or install the game, you believe that that also gave you the right to expect certain releases for certain platforms at a certain time, right? The fact the company has not met your expectations is cause for protests and boycotts, right?
I would say, given everything else which is happening in this world, and in this country, that what you actually need is not a new computer game but a sense of perspective.0 -

This means it doesn't work. It's taken me years of experience to get this cynical0 -
I would be more upset that this game came out 5 months ago in America and you're still waiting for it.0
