Nope. Much is owned outright and has no mortgage. LL's are not a new thing. I can't get around the the BTL fixation on here for contributing to the housing market woes! It is tiny.
All the repossessions and problems around my way are people extending their mortgages for expensive kitchens, holidays, cars, 2nd homes etc, not BTL!!

This is complete rubbish. Because any details forwarded by a tenant could be false. References are obtained on trust but could be provided by some aunt down the road for all a LL knows.
