I want it to fly from Coventry Airport and land a few minutes away from wherever I'm going, and I want the plane to myself.

I don't want beef or chicken.

Why someone feels the need to invade my few inches of leg room to tilt back a few degrees is beyond me

I find it really uncomfortable sat bolt upright and there is no way I would I could sleep in that position however I would always check and ASK before reclining my seat.

My hubbie is very large and people generally hurt him when they recline the seat as he fills the entire space.
Has screamed out in pain before when people put back the seat, so please ASK before you do so in case there is a baby on a lap or a large person behind.

Been covered a bit but NON reclining seats would be right up there.

Already available on some newer easyJet aircraft.

2-5-3 seating on larger aircraft, some airlines did this on MD-11 aircraft.
    2-3 seating on smaller aircraft.

If only more people shared your attitude Lisyloo :T but surely your case highlights the problem, you like to recline but hubby prefers/needs the person in front of him not to, I know you ask but in my limited experience you are in the minority, so take away the choice, problem solved, more so on short haul flights.
  • A non child, chav, groups of noisy people cabin would be great! In fact a quiet cabin like they have on trains... ie no crying, shouting, screaming lol.

A larger choice of films. A bed... I know they have them on the posh planes.. but if money was no object.. lol.. Sleeping tablets or valium on demand!

Individual heating instead of the freezing cold air conditioning! Thicker blankets. More toilets.. exercise bikes or stretching equipment.

Sleepsuits! on long haul trips and slippers and a teddy... sad I know!

Free drinks like the old days! Wider seats, smaller config ie 2 2 2 so you don't have to disturb other people when you need a wee!

    Will think on lots more..

And Ryanair, who have also removed the seat back pocket and associated clutter making the whole space appear much roomier. Safety sheet stuck to the seat in front.
  • A creche and nanny onboard to entertain small rugrats (I posted a few weeks ago about going long haul with a on year old and since then, she has developed a new scream, several new 'words' and started to walk!!!!).

All air staff to be as fabulous as they are on BA. (And that includes the rude, loud, and sometimes quite fat ryanair and easyjet staff we have come across in the past).

Temperature control - I am usually baking hot on flights and get terrible swollen ankles.

    Bigger toilets.

If money was no object and you were flying in a premium cabin on an airline what sort of services would you like to have?

Flights are a means to an end and whilst some of the below are available with some airlines, off the top of my head.....

    1. Flat bed seating.
    2. Feather Pillows.
    3. Cotton blankets.
    4. Inflight entertainment systems that one can plug USB sticks, SD Cards, etc into and play Music/video.
    5. Power supplies at all seats.
    6. Reflexologists.
    7. Bar area c/w bar stools.
    8. Individual temp controls.
    9. Decent sandwiches.
    10. Showers.
