Need someones help

With the help of the step by step guides I have tried and tried to get to grips with reclaiming my bank, credit card and miss-sold PPI charges but I still cannot add them up
I really would like (need) someone to help me put them together but obviously can't afford to pay any company to do it for me. Is there any where or anyone else who I can take the paperwork to and ask they do it for me or with me? Even if its for a small donation (£10 maybe) as a thanks for the help?
Thanks

Hi Crisp - it's not a hugely complicated thing. Why not just focus on one of those things at once? Print out the letters you need to send, and make a note in a diary of the 'expiry date' if it's time-sensitive. On that day, if you haven't had a response, send the next one tec.
You really shouldn't have to pay for someone else to do it, and I think it's such sensitive information you don;t really want a stranger doing it for you. This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Try asking in each individual forum, some members only stick to one forumClick here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.
All information given by myself is offered informally and without prejudice - if in doubt seek help from a qualified and insured professional0 -
As far as I am aware there isn't really any organisation that would cover this - however we have a whole PPI reclaiming forum on here... have you asked questions etc over there yet? If not then I can move this thread over for you

I think I have tried but not getting anywhere. I am no good at maths and it all becomes a blur so thats why I think I am avoiding it really and also the fact I dont understand even though reading through the step by step guides it seems simple in theory but in practice its unmanageable for me I hate to admit not that I am lazy sorry

Thanks

What about the Citizens Advice Bureau? Where do you live, can you travel, would you be prepared to post documents?0

I live in West Sussex. I have a local CAB but I dont find them very frindly, more judgemental when it comes to financial help! A lot of waiting arround for an appointment as its drop in only. Not easy to get to but willing to try if it helps clear debts!
Yes would be prepared to post items.
Thanks

Crisp, it's not a case of maths - I'm terrible! The bank charges thing is fairly simple - you simply go through your statements and highlight the charges. Then add them up. Download the letters from the forums, put your name and address plus your own total into the form and send. Voila, job done.
Do you think you've simply made it up to be a terrifying thing in your head? You may find the reality not as bad. Do them just one at a time, don't overload yourself.
Are there any other CAB's in your area that might be more helpful? This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!
