What's the difference between high tea and afternoon tea? Apart from the price:p

High tea you get a main course :)
Badly worded by me as I meant cheaper than dinner:o

I see. High tea where I grew up was basically a cooked breakfast with extra bits:confused:

No, its because its like groundhog day...our friends emigrated to australia nearly two years ago and we want to go too. so we are thinking of the same thing. BUT! he is over 45 so we can't go on a skilled migration visa. I could qualify as a chartered accountant (which is what I am trying to do) and apply but I am cutting it fine age wise.

He could apply for jobs abroad and we could get sponsored. His skills in IT are in demand over there...so in my mind its simple....he should apply for a job in australia OR sell the house and go! But he won't do either.....or he says he will look for a job and I can bet you a fiver we are having the same conversation in five months time....

    I would go tomorrow....

    .... and breathe!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.

Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Accounts/ admin/ bit of web stuff.. don't mind the work (though it is boring) but am discovering more and more I don't like about the place I work - never seen so much inequality, unfairness and internal politics/ power struggles.. sick of it.

I think it's endemic in any business at the moment partly with the economic situation.

It's so 'politically sensitive' in our place at the moment it's ridiculous.

Ooh that would frustrate me too - I am really bad at procrastinating but I hate it in other people! :o

You've got a point there. It does seem you get on better here though if you work for one of the managers who bends the rules and flutters their eyelashes/ hemlines at the right people...
