I am in the market for a camcorder i recently got my hands on Final Cut Pro so i want to start making small films and get into editing using final cut.
I have done some research on this have come across the Canon hr10 for £240 (£500 to £600 in most places) seems to be good images and good price for a HD in reviews, only problem is it uses DVD format to store film and this seems to be difficult to edit.
So i am looking at the Canon HV30 great reviews but can't see it for less than £600. (Too steep) Any suggestions where i may get even a second hand Hv30 or perhaps you could suggest an alternative.
Sorry if i am a bit vague just getting into the whole camcorder thing.
Regards

Did you buy, or go for something else?
I'm looking for a camcorder but have no idea where to start: there are so many and I don't really know what I'm doing.0 -
www.avforums.com have large sections dedicated to queries like this, with more specialised help available. You could also have a look at www.trustedreviews.com I'm pretty sure that they have tried the HV30.0
