Hi,
we've inadvertently deleted a folder containing a few hundred photographs! I've done PC Inspector and found a lot of random .jpg s in the 'root' folder which are in poor condition. However, as we know the name of the folder is it possible to search just for that in the hope that we can find it intact? The PC Inspector has turned up lots of stuff - but feel like I'm looking for a needle in a haystack!
Any advice gratefully received.

Daft time to say, but haven't you got any backups? And external HD is so cheap these days, it's a crime not to use one!
How did you delete? As previous said, the folder could just be in the bin, otherwise try and do as little as possible on the PC (The more you do the more the data will get overwritten) and try Recuva (As posted above), but installing anything will more than likely overwrite some of your data (Unless you have an different drive partition or disk to install on) - Good luck!0 -
thanks for the suggestions, Recuva found a load of files, but they were too badly damaged to recover. Thanks for the help anyway.Bern :j0
