Hi everyone
Has anyone else switched to Scottish Power and found their Gas has shot up in price?
I changed providers in January after being with British Gas for 17 years ,was told by a salesman that Scottish Power would reduce my gas by a third.
However I have been keeping tabs on the amount I have been putting in my meter and it is double the amount I would of put in with British Gas.
Scottish Power however are still insistent on the phone that they are a third cheaper than Britsh Gas and I must of used more gas in the cold weather
Needless to say I will be changing back to BG as sooon as possible.

Hang on a minute. Are you saying that you are using the same number of kwh of gas? Did you fix prices when you switched? You must be aware that all suppliers have put prices up last year.
And finally - don't take the suppliers word for it. Calculate how many kwh you use in a year and use a comparison site to work out which is cheaper!0 -

Or work it out using good old fashioned pen and paper
