Where do I put the charcoal filter in my new cookerhood?

I have a new CDA cooker hood which will eventually be extracted outside, until then I want to use it as a recirculating cooker hood which I've been told needs a charcoal filter, where would I put this filter?
Thanks in advance

I've already read it from cover to cover. It doesn't say.
When I purchased the cooker hood it said it could be used as either an extraction or recirculating hood but other than that, no clues.0 -
I would contact the supplier who should be able to supply the filter and advise on where to put it. In the ones I've had there are panels on the underside of the extractor which can be removed and thats where the filters are installed.0

As above,
That's where they normally go.....;)Happiness, is a Kebab called Doner.....:heart2::heart2:0 -
Some have a circular (or square depending on the model) cartridge that goes before or after the fan itself, the fitting information is usually supplied with the cartridge.0
