You need to make a CCA request for each a/c, providing no a/c is an O/D, only then will you know whether the debt is enforceable.
Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.

All information given by myself is offered informally and without prejudice - if in doubt seek help from a qualified and insured professional

Yup, it depends on the actual card agreement and whether it had the required prescribed terms on it.

  • If you had an accident at work did you not receive an insurance pay out.
If you did where did that money go? If you have not is there a reason.
The company I work for has an insurance policy to cover accidents at work. They will even pay out an amount to my family if I die while still being employed with them.
  • No insurance from work just a pension and i am still waiting to here from this all in all it looks like i will not be getting the pension as i don't fall with in the boundaries, if i do not get it we are sunk truly, i have 2 claims going through with union solicitors but these are early days yet.

  • Hi

I am trying really hard to improve my credit record by not applying for any credit/accounts for six months. However, I purchased some clothes online from Next (using quidco of course!!) and the next thing I know, I receive a credit statement in the post showing a credit limit even though I was not aware I had applied for one.

I rang Next to complain and they said that I must know I have applied for credit. I went back to the site to check and the only place I could find any reference to an account was deep in the fine print of the terms and conditions. At no point were any key credit facts given to me or was I advised of an APR. Also, one can make a purchase without reading the T & C as you simply tick a box to continue with your purchase.

Shouldn't APR and a warning about entering into a credit agreement be more prominent and easy to understand? I'm an economist and I still don't get it!

    Please advise me!!
  • Oh I am so sorry you may not get anything.
I do not know how to advise (maybe someone else will) but could ACAS or someone help.
