Single trip travel insurance for 17 year old

Last year, when DD was only 16 at the time of travel, I arranged a single-trip policy through Endsleigh. It cost £11 or thereabouts. Endsleigh have now changed their underwriters, and will only cover 18 year olds and above. I can't use the comparison websites because of DD's age.
I can get her a single trip policy through Liverpool Victoria for £17.53. Alternatively, I can get her a single trip policy through Sainsburys for £30.61 or an annual multi-trip policy for £30!
Does anyone have any suggestions, please.

There are 6 girls going away, 3 of whom are already 18.
I already have an annual family policy, but this only covers my daughter if she goes on holiday with the policyholder, ie me, or with an organised group.0 -
You have to ensure the cover you take out does not specify the minors have to be accompanied by an adult.
If it is a group of girls all going away on a girls holiday with no parents I would strongly recommend you get together with the other parents and all ensure you take cover out with the same Insurer (Preferably a decent company). I say this as if say one or more of the girls is taken ill the other other girls may need to claim or seek assistance from the Insurance Company. If you have 6 different companies there is obviously all of the extra hassle of contacting 6 different companies but you may find some of the companies are not interested in paying the claim as the person injured etc is not a policyholder with them. If you all have cover with the same company they will look a lot more favourably on the claim if say the rest of the party want to claim for coming home early etc.0
