Did Boots cancel your iPod order too?!

Hi all,

What's going on here then!?! After sitting in waiting for the courier for the best part of 2 days I get an email this morning from Boots saying that they have cancelled my order, cheeky swines!

As a token of their apology they gave me a £5 discount code. Well I'm sure the intended recipient of the gift would be satisfied with that - NOT!

Anyone else get the same treatment? This has really left me in the mire - it's one thing getting this kkind of treatment from some online stores, but from Boots? I had hoped for better.

I ordered my silver mini on the 3rd Dec. They went out of stock again almost immediately, but then came back into stock on the 5th IIRC. So did anyone ordering on the 5th receive an ipod mini silver?

As you can tell, I'm looking for ammunition to have a go at Boots with. And yes, I know Boots are well within their rights to do this but it still grinds!

Any similar sob stories appreciated.

Got a confirmation this morning saying mines been despatched. Ordered a Pink mini for the daughter. Give em some stick, I'm sure they were still selling the silver ones after you bought yours.

And is it just me, or is their homepage down? It was like that yesterday too, - just blank...
I've tried the usual cache/cookie clearing and also tried on 3 different browsers. Maybe it's just the number of hits they must be getting causing errors?

No, just been in to have a look at their offers page, their triple points thingy has been extended to 14th Dec BTW

I did get a bit peeved when they sent me a 5%off next order code valid until dec end whilst joe public gets 10% off HBST25 till end of Jan - some apology!

You may not want to hear this - ordered my silver iPod mini on the 3rd at 12:04pm and it arrived this afternoon.

Hmm, mine hasn't been delivered yet. Tuesday it was on the corby van. >:( Apparently they are running one or two days late with their couriers. I will phone them if it hasn't turned up by the end of today. Am the only one who has to hang on hold for ages?

Wah! I got my order email through at 12.30pm on Dec 3rd so if anything I was just behind you - no fair! Anyone order one after this time and have their order fulfilled?
