Lol...I just assumed it was a regional variation of snag, which to me means a loop of pulled thread. In Scotland we'd call it a pull. (Pulled "skag"??? Oh dear...)

If it's just a thread pull then take the 10%. It won't get worse. If it's an actual tear in the fabric, however small, consider the exchange. A mattress gets a lot of flexing and there's stress on the fabric and a tear will get worse.
    Val.
  • If it is a tear, then I would worry about it getting bigger, however a snag to me is just a pulled thread if it is only slight and you don't cut it off then it shouldn't cause a problem, I would take the 10%.

ooh someone needs agoodnight sleep, oh sorry no matteress!
any way, if your not happy with it just send it back! simple really.
  • the snag in my carpet was once a very little snag, now a few months on is a right big wopping run 8 foot long!!

i know your not going to be walking on your mattress, but i dont think 10% will justify it if i was a brand new mattress i had forlked out for ;)

id send it back if i was you, or at least ask for more than 10%

dont worry, we knew what you was typing, we use snag here all the time!
