JPA is messing around around again (just for a change eh) and the hubby is due to go away shortly and we think is stilled owed from last det in MPA his pay statement showed 1st Nov to 30 Nov and he was not even away then, so we need to know to work out if he is still owed or has he been paid correct (that would be a first).lol;)0 -
Do you mean the Falklands? you are not entitled to it there.0

You are now.
With effect from 1 Feb 08, Service personnel who are ‘operationally’ deployed or serving on temporary duty will be eligible to claim CTR for the period of their duty in the following overseas areas: Afghanistan, Bahrain, Bosnia, British Forces South Atlantic Islands (BFSAI), Diego Garcia, Iraq, Kosovo, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, RN Ships in receipt of Deployment Welfare Package (DWP) (Overseas) and all UN Operations. PJHQ may also designate other areas as ‘operations’ at their discretion.
From the introduction on 1 Oct 07 you weren't able to claim for certain areas but that changed from the 1st Feb 08.0 -

Thanks.
If the Det pre-dated the regs inc that theatre then I would say no. If it is back dated and your ~Det falls into back dated period then yes ! Based on what has been posted so far it looks as if it is a no.0 -
I didnt know if quatar was included when it was introduced in Oct07?
Perhaps Wagster might be able to clarify for me.
