I have a phil and teds and although my elder son is now getting a bit long for it, my main problem is ds2 23 months hates sitting underneath and is forever trying to get out, putting fingers in wheels or screaming . so I tend to use my beast of a side by side double when I have the 2 of them together
  • Yes, give it a try, take the footplate cover off and you'll be able to see what I mean, put the strip across (string weaved from top to bottom would do as well to be honest) you cannot see it when the cover is back on.

I had one of the early P&T and it was fab but I sold it as I wanted a newer one (and bought a new one with the old one I had - they were rare back then!!) and I was really disappointed in the new design.

Jennet - I used to have my eldest in the back seat - have you thought of putting your DD in the top seat? I never used to worry about the heaviest child on the top seat rule and never had a problem, DD used to get in and out so I figured it was better that than have her getting out while DS was in the back and it tipping. We took our P&T to Florida and 5YO DD was in it for many hours because there was a lot of walking and she did just fine but I do think 5 or a small 6 (is that 116 cms?) is about the max really.

The new P&T sounds good, I would try a local indepant or 'out n about as they are the UK distributors for P&T and they can get one in for you, they post it quite reasonable as well as you can also get spares from them. http://outnabout-atp.co.uk/

That does look fab. I am so pleased I'm having no more otherwise I might be tempted!!
  • Hi Jennet1,
From the website, it looks as though it folds down to a phil and teds sort of size. Try emailing them for their dimensions.

You too could be the scary jogging woman from the youtube clip.(I tease my friend who has one on order!!):rotfl:
