Audrey

I have just come off the phone from the online A.A.Insurance company absolutely delighted with the saving on my house and contents insurance. I have been with A.A. for two years, but when I received their invitation for renewal their quotation was a total of £761.12 for building and contents.
By going online with Moneysupermarket.co I trolled a couple of the companies including the A.A. whose online quote was so low I couldn't believe it. Today I did the same again just to check and found their quote a couple of hundred dearer. I phoned their 0800 number and spoke to a lovely lady in Newcastle. She checked my lower online quote which came to £378.53, for insuring building and contents with the same companies I was already with. Amazing! So of course I accepted the quote. Saving £382.59 Big sight of relief.

I think we can read into this that the AA rip off loyal customers.
    So sorry Audrey................OWN GOAL.

We can also read that as she spoke to a "lovely" lady in Newcastle, it must have been the one under-Lyme, not the dogs home by the Tyne.

I spoke to Audrey and must offer a difference of opinion - she missold to me and I am either contacting the ombudsman or asking my mate to get up there and do her in.

    Avoid her at all costs.

Wutang I don't understand what you mean, can you explain or pm me as this sounds interesting.

P.S Audrey, I love your choice of topic Title, why were you paying £700 to insure your house? For that premium you must have a massive house or a really high amount of contents / jewellery

Or just lets it renew like my Dad was going to. I found out by accident his renewal was over £750 for b&c and told him off for not shopping around, he just always pays his renewals.
I spent half and hour and got exactly the same cover for under £300. When he called his co to tell them not to renew they came back with a figure of just over £330.
