Can charges be considered a disputed debt?

Hi all,
Just had a thought
I'm in the process of applying for a personal loan and the only negative credit/missed payments I should have is Littlewoods which is showing an outstanding amount of £150 (unpaid for 2 months and possiibly now a default).
As I have a current claim for £180, can I dispute the balance therefore improving my current credit score ?
Any advice much appreciated
Steve
