Kavos (Corfu) good or bad - Lads Hols

Hello,

Currently looking for some advice, 6 Lads are currently looking for a lads hols for around the 8 july for a week. Kavos seems to be the cheapest deal so far, however I have heard mixed receiptions about the place.

We are all around the 20/23 mark and this will be our 8th holiday together. Been to ibiza 5 times (san antonio and playa den bossa), shag-a-muff (magaluf) once and cancun, mexico once. We dont really want much, just a place to get plenty of drink down our necks thats cheap and has a few ladies about town (typical 18-30 larger louts hols)

Has anyone been to Kavos, if so what was it like. We know the place apparently stinks and we have to poo in the toliet but put our tissues in a basket!!!! but other than that we are a bit clueless. We fancy a change from spain so any thoughs much appreciated

I would rather go to Malia than Kavos

We did look at malia but it was a lot more expensive than kavos. £457 versus £340. Plus drinks are a bit dearer in malia apparently.

We are all skint this year (like the rest of us), so we are really looking for somewhere cheap with the following points

> Cheap Beer
> Can act like k**bs and not spoil any family holidays
> Some lovley ladies

As an alternative what are the prices like in Faliraki now a days?

Just had to reply although I can't really give you much advice as last time I went to Kavos was about 10yrs ago when I was your age and it was great then.

It's just that your posted list of requirements really cracked me up, having worked in Magaluf too Ive seen many a "lads hol"!! :eek: But you forget about things......when you get older......so you have really made me chuckle!!

So I just wanted to say have a great holiday - it's what you make it really and sounds like you will probably have a ball wherever you go!!

Kavos will probably fulfil your criteria admirably. Likewise, Faliraki in Rhodes and Laganas in Zante/Zakynthos.

Cheers everyone for your advice and best wishes. Heard a few things about malia and lanzerote so will ask about them when we book. As long as they are cheap and cheerful we are happy.

well i went to kavos as a family and on arrival they tried to tip our coach over:eek: :rolleyes:

there was a ppor old couple who were a bit shellshocked as they were expecting peace and quiet i think, the old man came up and asked i had been topless on the beach , his wife told him to shut up, it was his first time out of the scottish highlands:rolleyes:

it was very l ively so definately suited to a lads type holiday ithink, personally i prefered out of resort than in but thats because i like the county side.

funniest moment was the donut seller, "sexy donuts, sexy donuts, with these donuts i have sex 50 times " he said!

oh asked him which one he had had sex with as he didnt want it so the seller looked perplexed and left:rotfl: :T
