Second Hand Car Help Needed !!!

I bought a second hand car about 10 weeks ago from an independant dealership.
Its a saab 9-3 , 2003 plate and cost me £8500
The car came with a 31 day "major defect" warranty
Well , ever since the start of January ive had nothing but problems with the car , it's now been into the local saab garage 4 times with faults varying from ruptured turbo hoses to engine cut out's to broken road springs.
The owner of the saab garage recons that the road spring had been broken since before I purchased the car !
I called the car dealer last week and spoke wth the salesman who sold me the car who told me that he would have a manager call me , gave it a few days , no call ... called back , big appologies , the manager was busy but would call me by the end of the day , guess what ?? No call aain !!!
to top this off the engine warning light has just popped on showing that there is yet another problem with the engine !!!
So far Ive spent over £900 repairing faults from a car I bought less than 4 months ago !!!
Do I have a leg to stand on with getting the dealership to accept any responsibility for selling me a car thats obviously got more than a few skeletons in its cupboard ????
Thanks in advance
Brian

AFAIK there is a minimal level of cover when you buy from a dealer, where they have to prove the fault didn't exist at the point of purchase.0

That's not a very long warranty for a car-I would have wanted 3 months at least.0
