I have just received a text saying: Hi, i am trying to obtain your address details to deliver the Stoke tickets you have won with barclays Ticket Office Promotion... Now should i reply to the txt or phone it? Or just ignore it? Im puzzled as what to do...

Update: i have phoned the number, and i have won Stoke City V Portsmouth Tickets for 21st February :D With Barclays Ticket Office. He said i texted in a code off an atm receipt...but the only one i have entered is online where i put the code in off the spinny balls :rolleyes: So don't know if thats the same comp? Anyway he said he will send them out this week, so we shall see...Thanks to who posted the barclays instant win comp..think it was martins doll? x x

Barclays ticket office is a big prize draw going on at the moment with hourly winners. I can't find the tread, but i remember doing it. Do you remember entering one where you had to wait for three footballs to spin around then enter the code? - thats the Barclays one.

Im not sure if its from that comp because whenever i've entered it says unlucky...But he did seem genuine...we'll see eh. Im so excited, me and OH love Stoke City and can't afford to go so this is brilliant. Thanks again martins doll. This is the 3rd win off martins doll, so thank you very much :D

Im really unsure about this win Ive just gone to the comp website and it doesnt ask for a telephone number and i certainly havn't entered by text...So how have they got my number? And why did they text my phone rather than phone me like barclays have before when i've won tickets. Im feeling quite nervous now. Is it too much of a coincidence that i won Stoke tickets....I dont know what to think...:rolleyes:

google the number that he text with, sometimes it brings up other people questioning the number. It does sound odd.

I have, but nothing came up...:o I asked him what competition i'd won, as i enter lots, he said, you texted us a code off the back of a barclays atm reciept, and you've won and now i need your address. He also asked for only my first name, i said, dont you need my surname? he said first name is sufficient?! Im really puzzled by this now. Is it just a coincidence that i'd won stoke tickets and he had the right mobile number?? Aww wish i hadnt got my hopes up. I think i'll forget about them, but if they turn up it's a bonus.... :cool:

:j:j After all of my scepticalness my tickets have arrived today(only won yesterday!) so i'm very happy! The Footy match is the day before mine and OH's 8 year anniversary, so will mke a lovely present for us :D
